Campus Safety and Clery Act Annual Report (2024-2025)

The String Theory School of Design publishes an Annual Security and Fire Safety Report, which provides the community with information about safety policies, emergency procedures, prevention initiatives, and crime statistics in compliance with the Uniform Crime Reporting Act and federal requirements. The report emphasizes that campus safety is a shared responsibility among students, faculty, and staff, and outlines policies on crime reporting, harassment, drug and alcohol use, possession of weapons, and emergency preparedness. Importantly, the 2024–2025 report documents that no incidents of crime or fire were reported at String Theory School of Design for the 2024-2025 school year.

Drug and Alcohol Abuse Prevention Policy

The String Theory School of Design strictly prohibits the use, possession, sale, distribution, or intent to distribute alcohol, controlled substances, anabolic steroids, or any intoxicating chemical substances on school property, during school-sponsored events or field trips, and while using school transportation. Students may only use prescription medications that are prescribed to them by a licensed physician and used in accordance with the prescription. Assisting or concealing another student’s violation of this policy is also prohibited. Any violation will result in disciplinary action consistent with school procedures and applicable law. This policy is intended to maintain a safe, healthy, and productive learning environment and ensures compliance with the federal Drug-Free Schools and Communities Act.
